Zeroid - 2001-2002 - CD - 7,50 EUR
(Hellache
#003, 2002) - SOLD OUT!
Here
we have a 21 song compilation of songs by one of my favourite dark
and heavy bands from Germany: Zeroid.
Now
sadly defunct, this CD compiles tracks from their 10” and
their LP (which are still available, too) and has one previously
unreleased bonus song plus some noise sequences to end this CD.
Musically Zeroid sound a lot like the setting of an amok run. Desperate,
angry, crestfallen and disaffected. Maybe bands like old Neurosis
or Kylesa could be taken as a comparison. In addition to the music,
Zeroid´s lyrics are also worthwhile to read (and therefore
also come along translated into English). Without picking any specific
lines, the lyrics support the atmosphere created by the music (or
the other way around…). In my opinion the lines to the song
“Nicht viel…” describe the feeling, which evokes
when listening to Zeroid best: “Between turmoil and submission
between everything goes and nothing makes sense between let´s
start it and give it all up so I stumble ahead a casual look back
shows me not too much”. - Enough Online Fanzine, 09/2003 |

Zeroid - 2002 - 10INCH - 5,00 EUR
(Hellache
#002, 2002)
More
doom and gloom from the Hamburg scene, this is the new group formed
by ex-JENIGER folks among others, so of course it's dark and heavy
! URANUS, UYS, and old AMBUSH come to mind, fucking good but not
recommended if you need cheering up! - SN, Reason To Believe

Zeroid
- 2001 - 12INCH - 7,50 EUR
(Hellache
#001, 2001)
Oh
my god, holy shit: One of the best records this year. Here are people
from Asmodina's Leichenhaus, World Chaos and Akephal involved, but
it sounds more heavy; dark hc in the vein of the slow parts of "From
Ashes Rise" mixed up with Neurosis, Breach and bands like this,
a must have. - Flowerviolence Distribution |

Jeniger
- S/t - LP - 6,00 EUR
(Hellache
#000, split release with Skuld Releases and others..., 2000)
This
has been one of my favorites all winter. The only problem that i
have had is that i always think there is a big dustball on my turntable
needle mid-way thru this record and i came to realize it was something
in the recording. HOWEVER, even that doesn't get in the way how
fuckin awesome this record is. These guys are from Germany and they
play heavy brooding kind of krusty punk hardcore. Power packed and
heavy with a galloping and pummeling style. Weaving with layered
guitars and raspy vocals. The lyrics are printed on the back cover
sleeve. Kinda touch of HHiG or From Ashes Rise, without sounding
too much like either. Jeniger have the dark heavy throbbing sound
down and they also rock hard with a driving energy. I fuckin' love
it! - Slug & Lettuce Zine
