I Again 2 months no news update on the site... Well guess it won't change and fuck it, it's just a website. But we are working on some changes
like a release page for both out labels and the distribution so you have at least an overview of what we did, do and will be doing.
To the ones who read the news, thanks and we are also working on a tool so I can update them easier and you have more blabla from us...
First of all some really important stuff, fuck the record bullshit.
UNGDOMSHUSET BLIR
Ungdomshuset is a venue, activist center well no it's THE house and center for punk and politics in Kopenhagen.
It's one of the last autonomous run places of 'our scene'. I go there for years with bands and for festival and it's always a blast
to see how the kids there keep it going and get it organized. I love it there and it's essential for us that it stays.
They faced an eviction trial against some fucking christians who bought the house and lost it.
The eviction date should be the 14th of December. I hope cause of the big demonstration and RTS action the city
is a little deterred to try it but you never know. Check back at www.ungdomshuset.dk or better go up there and support the house and people there.
A lot of solidarity, energy, power and hope to the defenders and fighters for what is ours!
Here in Germany some people try to do something 'new' for our places. A lot of places I spent my youth got evicted, Karlsruhe this year :-(
and other places have big problems with the noise and neighbors and the laws. A new idea to at least have no problems with a stupid landlord
and be autonomous with decisions is to buy our houses. This just happens to the Zoro (Leipzig) and G18 (Bremen) and hopefully
the Karlsruhe crew will get their project going (they have an amazing plan www.kussmaulstrasse.org).

I think this is a great option to still have venues which are not like so many here, youth centers and the city can always fuck with us or places which have to become commercial to still go on. Sure there are great 'youth centers' and commercial places which are run by good people and have a great structure and are 'ours' but I would say if we own it it's still better. Zoro and G18 always can need donations for the finance plan they have to buy the houses!

Now some personal blabla:
Last months were pretty hectic, well maybe it's just me. I was on tour with my boys from TOTAL CHAOS and earned some bucks. Was a great time with the Spike Punks.
I met my friends of KYLESA before, on and at the end of the tour. Hope you didn't miss them, they were killer again and they have two drummers now and believe me that fucking blast you away.
And also if you missed them you missed a bunch of great people which I'm happy to see as my friends. I should say a big Thanks from KYLESA to all the great people who helped them on the tour and all the great people they met.
Also we did three SUBHUMANS shows. Was also just great. Couldn't wait to see this forever going and still so passionate band again and they were ass kicking good.
I was for a short recreation in Italy and met my parents. Was so good and my parents rule. (Hi Marianne ;-) I don't know how my little mum made that killer hike
in the beautiful mountains in north Italy with me and being less knackered than me afterwards. Maybe I should really live a little healthier.
And when I talk about my health, I survived ZORO Fest again, haha. Also I moved and have an 'office' now, Thanks to Micha Farewell to share his office with a carping dwarf like me.
I hate moving and the move was and still is hell but thanks to one person who helped more than anyone else... Lisa. You rule. And a big thanks to the others. And Inselmann have a blast in Hagen and Kormann in USA and Bremen!
One more thing I am so happy about. I become godfather!!! Oppa + Katrin I love you!!!

I am back from the NIGHTMARE / BURIAL tour and it was a fucking blast. Who had the chance to see Nightmare and missed it, you have no clue about intensity on stage! A big thanks to the bands and Shin, it was so good to be in the van with the feeling to travel with friends. It was one of the best tours I ever had and I definitely made some good friends on this one :-).
Also big thanks to everyone who helped us (especially Mathias, Jakob, Christina, Loffi and Iffi) with and on the tour, who came out to the shows and enjoyed it, you are the ones who make us do all that!

Well aside from this flood of releases and going to work not much happened the last months. Some good shows, some fun nights, a relaxing trip to Djerba with Giessens best and finally spring... I planned on going to Chaos in Tejas Fest to see my northern American friends and have a blast but cause of all the responsibility for the releases and the Nightmare tour I stay here. Well, the January, February were a pretty stupid start for the year 2006.
Jack Control got stabbed by a fucked up Asshole while trying to intervene in a fight outside of the Parlor in Austin, TX.

He's an ace guy and I like him a lot. He really did a lot of great things for the 'scene' and always helped out when needed so now it's time to help him out. His medical bills are fucking crazy high and seems like he has to pay first. It's just ridiculous how the system works. With our benefits he maybe has at least some money in his pocket to pay his daily bills.
Tom "Pig Champion" Roberts died Monday January 30th in his house in pdx. His tunes and spirit will life on.
Here not much to tell, pretty much the normal life of work and sleep. Most of the time get's wasted with working and getting all the paper shit for the self employment done. But that's the way it is, a little sun would make it easier though...
But still there are the weekends to give me a blast and see all my friends. a.e. FROSTPUNXPICNIC was great. Friday Now Denial fucking killed and Saturdays was just insane non-stop party. Thanks to all the organizers, bands and nice people who showed up.
Labelstuff is going good at the moment. I sold most of the CDs with the sellout list. BURIAL - Never Give up... LP and BOMBENALARM - Buried Alive LP are repressed.
The represses of the BURIAL - S/t‚ 7inch (originally released on Autodafé) and a repress of the BOMBENALARM - Destination Fucked Up 7inch (This time with new cover artwork and remastered) are close to be done.
BURIAL recorded for a new 7inch on Heartfirst (www.heartfirst.de) and one track was supposed to be on the MRR compilation but cause of slouchiness on MRRs side nothing is 100% sure anymore. Fuck it, the songs rule. Hell yeah, let the wolves out!
BOMBENALARM also recorded 2 tracks. They are for the Split 7inch with german rock out maniacs Dean Dirg. Intense rocking, midtempo smashers.
LOWBOT (Hamburg/Bremen based band out of the ashes of Zeroid) will tour soon stay tuned for tourdates.

The last month I was mainly at home and only spend the weekends on the road. I started to enjoy this regular everyday life. I am struggling with a benefit program to get self employed at the moment. No worries I won't try to make money of the label to survive that's not possible anyway. I do it for quite some years and realized that the way I do it's not good to make money. At least I didn't loose more money the last releases, no, I even paid back half the labels debts. Highlight of the last month were the Deutschland In Decline shows in Berlin and Hannover. Thanks to the organizers and the people who made the parties so good. Took me a while to recover. Also a big hug to Austin's sweethearts Signal Lost. They fucking rule!

Back home for a while and finally I take time to write the news.
The KYLESA - European Assault Tour and the ARMAGEDOM & MAKILADORAS - Death Flying Over The Europe Tour went great thanks so much to all people who set up shows and helped. You're the ones who make me going on. Also thanks to all the people who showed up. All bands were super happy with the tours. Yeah not to forget a big thanks to the bands, you are so awesome people which made it big fun to organize the tours and tour with you.
I will take a break of organizing tours now for a while, need a break and focus on other things and find a job. The people who deserve thanks for helping me the last years know who they are!!!
There were some rad festivals the last months. Bomben Auf Bielefeld was a killer and the annual family meetings in Liege and Leipzig ruled too. All the people who organized and helped deserve a big fucking 'up the punk family' thanks.
About the labels and Distro:BURIAL is nearly sold out again. Contact LaVidaEsUnMus and Instigate for wholesale copies until we do another repress. Bombenalarm LP also needs to be repressed in the next weeks and I'll do a repress of the Burial 7inch (originally released on autodafe records) soon. Some more stuff is in the works but no talking before action!
COP ON FIRE / VISIONS OF WAR - 'Split' 12inch is out and believe me this is a masterpiece of Crust and Dis-music. And like always good looking heavywheight packaging. I only have 200 copies so be fast! (it's a cooperation with several labels from all over Europe and the US).
MAKILADORAS - 'In Eigen Hand' LP is also pressed and ready, we just wait for the stickers. If you don't know them by know, Dutch Metal Punk with an amazing old entombed style guitar work. Looks great, sounds great, is great! Only 100 copies here. (it's also a cooperation with several labels).

Onkel Tom who and his boy Malte (the young side of punk bar) for all the ripping shows in Bielefeld. They'll stop doing shows (for a while) so have a relaxing brake and I appreciate all you did for me, hope Bomben Auf Bielefeld and Signal Løst was a good end for you.

Hi Kids and Young at Hearts!
Back from the road and again a little too fucked up. Well I suffer from up and downs forever and I'm close to a burnout again. I did too much at once again and a lot of things turned out really chaotic so I have to fucking cut down again. I write it here so people have a prove that I said it. No tourbooking and taking care of tours (aside from the pogo wolves) until next summer. Hope I stay to my word. Label and life need enough of my time and energy.
Alright about the Tours it was a blast again. Scandinavia and especially the balkan was so amazing. BURIAL / DOOMTOWN fucking ripped and BOMBENALARM kicked ass with no single weak show :-) Fucking hell.

HIS IRO IS GONE existed around 2001-2002. They came together when Stefan and Tati (guitar and vocals from LOST WORLD) moved to Bremen and met with their friends Arne, Olaf and Roberto from bands like KOBAYASHI, A.S.E. & TATORT to play some kick ass punk. It's the typical raspy vocals from Lost World with slightly different music but if you're into Lost World you'll love this one.

Another short update. Two of three records in progress are out and will be sold and distributed now. Stachel will be on tour until 22nd of July so we won't answer e-mails for a while but you can already place orders. We will do our best to reply to all mails as soon as possible. Our money situation did't really change. Actually we can't pay the invoice for the BOMBENALARM LP. So, please understand we don''t trade at the moment , we need money to pay the pressing plant and all that.

Alright, this news where on my computer for about 2-3 weeks now. I wanted to send them to Arne so he can update the website but forgot to attach them and my computer went with all this important news straight onto storage. Well I got the news out and here they are.
UNSOCIABLE will be closed until mid April.
Stachel moved to Mülheim (Ruhr). He will take all the distro and label records. It will take while until he is back on track with label and distro. No internet access for a while and all the records packed and pyled in boxes!
We won't really answer mails for the next month and when we get back we'll see how fast we can work through the mails.
Yeah also the frustration and burn out with all that label stuff leads us to another point:
This hobby is just too time intensive and expensive and we can't afford to loose money and energy all the time.
We love releasing records from and with friends and want to go on with that but we have to find a better way than it is now.
A fulltime job were you loose your money all the time is not an option. Maybe we are bad business man, good possible but we don't care cause money is not at all the intention why we do it.
No, it's friendship, but right now label and everything around takes so much time that it's hard to take time for the friendship.
Well we have some ideas how we can get it work. You will read about it soon.
We should not forget a highlight, the "FROST PUNX PICNIC", it was a blast. The saturday was a day without one bad band.
BOMBENALARM as opener followed by Mönster, Death Token, Insuiciety, No Hope For The Kids and last Dean Dirg. Thanks to all the bands the organizers and everyone who showed up you made this fest a big success :-)
We have Contamination Distribution kind of back. At least we have updated lists you can download. We'll try to keep them updated even in the next 2 months.
But we can't take orders for the next 2-3 weeks.
Something else, the year started really bad first one friend commited suicide then it got confirmed that Mieszko died in the Tsunami Desaster. We lost two awesome people. Our thoughts are with their friends and families.

All the Christmas and around blablabla is over. Stachel had a nice one week trip to Scandinavia. A weekend party-tour with Victims in Finland and a fun night in Stockholm.

I had a view on some unfinished pictures on low resulution and hell this will be a beauty. Maybe after you bought it you will just hang it on your wall as a poster.
Two labels are joining it and maybe two more. Angry Records from Italy and Profane Existence are definitely on board.

The recordings are done and mastered. Hell yeah, again a masterpiece of European Japcore. Thrashles burning spirit influenced Hardcore. This time even more crushing melodies and fist-raising singalongs with a more rock touch than the 7inch. Artwork is in the last steps. We all hope to have the record out until the 12th of march. There will be a record release party in the AJZ Bielefeld Punkbar!
There was a special edition for their southern Europe tour together with their mates of Doomtown.If you got one, be happy!
On board for these release are Instigate records from sweden and LaVidaEsUnMus from London, Spain, SanFrancisco.

HIS IRO IS GONE / HYSTERIA Split LP
No progress in this project. We will still support and distribute this record, but no one knows when it will happen. We just gave away the coordination casue it takes forever and we don't have the time to focus on this release so much. H.I.I.G. was Bremen based crust band with memebrs of Kobayashi and Lost World. With the typical raspy voacals from Tati. Hysteria are a intense Crust band from the Netherlands.
This is a project from several labels and also supported by us in the form of Contamination Distribution

We will non-exclusively distribute their new LP over here when it's out. (end of march) We have a good agreement with the band and Havoc.

Last news for 2004!
Stachel is back from the CRUDE tour. Thanks to tomodatchi CRUDE, PCP and Crew, Benni and Alex for the great time. Ai ishte mas ;-) kazoku.
Alright another year is going to end an another one in front. A lot of things will be the same and a lot of things have and will be changing. Stachel decided to move to Mülheim in the Ruhrpott. So the HQ for all the records will be there from March on. Arne will still be master of graphic fuck-ups and website terror. Contamination will be wholesale distribution and mailorder in the future. Some friends of us who live in the Ruhrpott join it. The aim is to keep label and distro small and working.
This all will lead to a break. We will shut down label and distro in February and March. Until then we have to sent out a list and sell as much as possible. The money situation is still pretty fucked up which is also a result of bad book keeping. Stachel figured out he fucked up a couple of hundred euros by not keeping the books right. We hope we can fix it and get at least some of the money back people still "owe" us without knowing it. But even with this money we have a hard time paying the bills, but we shouldn't complain no one can buy the records if we have no list!
We still do our best to get it working but self-exploitation what seems to be the main essence of every d.i.y. project should become less.

5. FINANCIAL SITUATION, TRADES
Our financial situation is pretty fucked up at the moment. The label has 6000 EUR debts and out pockets are empty. For us it means that we will try to sell all our stocks as soon as possible by lowering prices and making special offers to distributors to have money to pay the pressing plant. We will also cut down releasing stuff. No worries all the confirmed releases will come but we have to see how we can survive after that.
The main problem is that it's not only us who is having serious problems, it's a general steam. Sales rates are going back, everyone has less money due to the economic situation, the scene is in decline and more and more releases are coming out. One of the best example is SKULD. Kleister had serious financial problems in the past but it was never with such a bad prospect. We'll see how long we all can survive.
It's no surprise that more and more labels are shutting down because of having no energy and money anymore. The whole economy is going down, the social systems are cut down everywhere and the scene is in decline.
We don't see a conclusion right now. You can help the small d.i.y. labels by ordering there releases directly from them instead of buying their releases from business mailorders.
The financial situation combined with having no functioning mailorder is the reason why we don't trade at the moment. I feel bad for that since trading is a big and important part of the scene but also a risky thing which we can't afford at the moment. We hope you can understand.

Another news update before Stachel hits the road again...
Ok, 4 weeks at home and facing all the chaos and work here where a little too much for Stachel. Close to be burned out a short trip with Disfear (thanks for the good fun my friends) a little break in between a lot of contemplate led to the conclusion to work harder on the aim to cut down a little.
We managed to organize a lot but still shitloads of things to do. So if you wait for an answer, statement or anything we are really sorry and will do our best to keep up with everything as soon as possible.
Right now we work on a couple of releases, a restrcuture of CONTAMINATION and a mailorder. Also two tours are right in front of us and the Crude tour in December still in mind. Also we start to plan for the Kylesa tour next year. You'll hear more about it when the situation is clear.

Alright Everybody -
here we are again.
Stachel is finally back from touring and will be here for the next
5 weeks and takes care of all the chaos - because of all the touring
and Arne's new job it's really a mess here.
Now we have to organize and sort everything out here to find a base
to restructure the whole project.
I (Stachel) realized that I can't go on like I do right now. Organizing
tours, touring, Contmaination Distribution, Unsociable, Hate...
It's just too much. When I'm not on tour I spent nearly all my time
at home with trying to organize tours and do all the Label/Distro
stuff. I don't really find time for myself. Right now I figure out
how everything can still go on without ruining me. I'm looking for
partners for Label and Distribution who help doing all the e-mails,
orders and book keeping. Some good friends offered help, thanks
for that. The problem is the partners would need access to the records
and the computer. We'll see, two friends will join for sure it's
just a matter of time that we find a way to live in the same city.
But until then I still have to do the most organizing shit myself.
Arne is still my partner in crime and does all the graphic and website
stuff but all the other stuff like emails, orders, book keeping
are done by me right now.
I work on a database for the distribution and a new mailorder right
now and hope everything will be online in november. Thanks to my
programming friend Richard!
Also I have to cut down booking tours and driving. It's just too
time intensive. I need time at home for label and distro and I need
to work (my debts are killing me slowly). The last tours I book
or/and drive are THE DAGDA + P.L.S. and DISEASE in October, CRUDE
in December and KYLESA probably in April.
I'll still help and organize for friends but I'll try to cut down
with all that.
